For
the Bachelor of Arts with a major in the history of
art , in addition to fulfilling all the general requirements
for graduation within the liberal arts curriculum, a student
takes 33 credits in the history of art, including 101
and 102 .
Five
300 level courses should come from the following fields:
(a)
Ancient, Pre-Columbian, and African Art, (b) Medieval Art, (c)
Renaissance or Baroque Art, and (d) Modern and American Art.
Two
each from two fields and one from the 3rd field at the 600 level.
A one-credit writing practicum is available with art history
courses at the 600 level and above that satisfy the college
writing requirement.
A
minor in art history consists of at least
21 credits of art history , of which 101 and
102 are required.
