Tennis

The Lions have competed at the middle school level for many years. We have metro championships for both the boys and girls. Our last Boy’s championship was in 2005, with a second place finish in 2006.

Baseball

The baseball team has always been very competitive in one of the strongest divisions of the Metro League. Our last Metro Baseball championship was in 1997. That year’s team supplied many high schools with future stars. This will be the second year that we have had baseball at the varsity level.

Golf

Lusher has the advantage of a number of seasoned golfers to seed a developing program.

Track and Field

Some of the best runners in the city and indeed the state have come out of Lusher’s middle school program. With such promising home-grown talent, the varsity track and field program looks to continue a tradition of excellence.

Softball

Lusher softball has always had a very competitive program which has produced many high school and college players.

A centerpiece of the athletic program at the Fortier campus is the newly-refurbished Atlantik-Bruecke Community Resource Center (ABCRC) gymnasium.
