is the difference between a college and a university?
Does the school offer degree programs in your areas of academic interest?
I’m undecided about what I want to study? When do I need to
decide?
Is the school on the semester or quarter system? What is the difference?
What’s the difference between a Core Curriculum & Distribution
Requirements?
How flexible is the curriculum? Is that important?
Are courses taught by graduate students or by professors?
What’s the Student: Faculty ratio?
What sort of academic advising is available? Who will be my advisor?
What’s the typical class size of freshman courses?
Is there a foreign language requirement? If so, what is it?
Is there an Honor’s Program? If so, how are students selected
and what are the advantages of participation?
What are the opportunities for Internships, Undergraduate Research,
and Study Abroad?
What does the school offer in terms of Career Services? Who will help

Is there a Senior Thesis or Comprehensive Exam requirement for graduation?
What are the admission requirements? Essays? Letters of Recommendation?
